Summer Travels

This summer I have finally made it to San Francisco.  It has been on my must visit list for so long with everyone telling me  I would love it.  Well you were all  right, I did, I loved it- still love NY more though 🙂 .  I have a bone to pick with everyone who went on and on about the cool vibe of the city, the gritty New Yorkesque feel and of course the great food….all true but why, WHY, did no one mention how hilly it was.  As an avid walker I was not prepared for the terrain and got shin splints on day one that lasted an entire week, thanks guys, if I would have know I would have worn sneakers!  That, of course, did not stop me from lots of walking seeing Chinatown, where I got an excellent lesson on how to properly make tea, Lombard Street, Japan town,I love Hello Kitty, Fisherman’s Wharf, Union Square, and the Financial District. I went biking from the Wharf over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, biking through Golden Gate Park, took a local yoga class, and ate lots of great food, the high light being The French Laundry with a very, VERY close second the Millionaire’s bacon at Sweet Maple- this is a must if you are ever in San Fran.
I must thank Mistress Nadia again for securing my reservation to The French Laundry for me.  If not for her I never would have gotten in. So…Thanks Nadia 🙂 It was amazing.
The streets have steps they are so steep

I have also spent some time in Florida 5 days shooting and sessioning on the West Coast then over to Miami for 5 more days of sessioning and exploring my newly discovered retirement dream residence- Canyon Ranch Miami.  I loved it so much I’m returning for Labor Day. I am sure I will be making more trips there so if any of you live in Miami let me know and I will contact you when I travel there.
